Telling Colorado players to hit the Portal ...he is bringing the JSU players with him.
As bad as the Colorado team was this past season....they are still better players than what Jackson State has. This move doesn't make sense to me.

Agreed. His talk was no nonsense expectation setting. Their program used to be world heaters, but they've been terrible for years.
Coach Prime wants to win. He knows that not all of their players are dedicated, playing hard, and done don't even finish practice.
He's starting with the important non football things like appearance, academics, and focus during team meetings and playbook reviews.
He makes no bones about bringing in a few J State players that know how to run his system.
I bet that the Buffs will be relevant in 2 or 3 years and really good in 4. Coach Prime is a recruiting and portal gold mine for Colorado.
The most telling thing was him extolling the virtues of the campus, the town, and the state. That's recruiting video stuff for potential recruits. It might not make the current players happy, but that's not his job.
And...no hoodies, sleeveless shirts, shirts or phones in team meetings. No one on that team has any excuse in 2 weeks when he starts.

Though. He’s basically saying get ready to work or just leave now. He can also call anyone in the portal and ask them if they want to play for coach prime and he’ll have a minimum 50% “yes” rate.

Yeah I think he’s going to rack up in the portal. Colorado is about to go from suck to competitive in 1 season. ( Competitive as I’m not sucking, not as in top 25 or anything crazy)
