Thanks for the update,that's good news.The way it looked I feared he would be out for much much longer.The Braves need to get back on the winning side at Milwaukee.They get to .500 and then proceed to lose a series and go back under .500,need to get over .500 at some point and stay there.

The last few years the Braves always seem a little slow in the beginning then usually go on a tear mid season, only to slow down a little just as they going into post season.

I'm hoping if they are playing they "B" game now, and can stay near .500 for another few weeks and then slowly turn it on we'll see a different team in the post season.

Of course, have more talent and depth at pitcher would help the most.

We turn the pitching around a bit I have no doubt we can win the east. Bats will continue to heat up. Just gotta figure out the pitching situation.

The Braves are now 0 - 6 against the Jays this season...

and that is largely due to incredibly poor pitching, especially out of the bullpen.

On the other hand, the Mets who are currently in first place in the Division, are 8 - 2 in their last ten games and winners of seven in a row.

That said, the Braves are still only four games back and that's largely because of the little run the Mets are having.

It's certainly not time to hit the panic button yet but there is no question, the pitching (especially out of the bullpen) has to improve.
