Need Verification on Tiger/Coots Series

I was told by a huge Tiger fan that up until sometime in the 1950's all the games were played in Columbia. Can anyone verify or null that.

1961 was first game played at Clemson. After that it has been home and home. Game was in Columbia on Thursday of State Fair week. Makes our record against them even more meaningful. Only time they have been ahead -they won first game ever played.

These guys answered you question, but at the same time period we always played Sec teams at their place, Auburn, Jawja have big leads in our series because they played us at home, I suspect they had better personnel the majority of the time but when you are always the visitor the home team gets a big advantage!

From then on, even years are Clemson home games and odd years are at the cockroach.

Also played GT in Atlanta till 1974. So every year we had SC and GT on road.
