My son scored 1400 on the sat is that good enough to get into Clemson

The mean SAT score for entering freshmen is 1230*. The mean SAT
score for South Carolinians is 1220, while out-of-state students
average 1246.

Yep, and good enough for palmetto fellows scholarship. If he does math or science major his schooling will basically be paid for (I actually got a small check every semester which paid for books).

Only costs he will have is cost of living.

gotta keep those grades up though...I was making money each semester my first two years and then lost my schollies and had to pay out of pocket for my junior/senior year...tough to get out the hole when you have a bad semester but am proud to say I graduated with honors.

If it's all three scores then it's out of 2100. Clemson (and most other schools) only cares about Math and English though
