Freedom of speech is a 1st amendment right. One can choose not to listen or disagree but folks get to have their say.
IMO Griner was foolish to do what she did. I could care less about her politics. Swap seems uneven given crimes committed. But International politics with an authoritarian government are what they are.

I never said that at all. Read into things much? I actually said the opposite. But, lets look at the facts, she knowingly broke the laws of another Country and knew it was illegal when she did it. Do I believe the punishment fit the crime? No. I don't believe I ever said I wanted her to spend 10 years in a Russian prison. If you can find where I said that then I will Venmo you $100.

She was in possession of something she legally purchased and had a prescription for in the US.
And it sounds like you think we should have told her to suck it up because she didn't stand for the national anthem.
