I have had a subscription to SI for a loonngg time (@30 years) so when I heard DW was on the cover I was pretty excited. This afternoon I "rush" home from work to check my mail. I open the mailbox and there it is, my SI with....Michael Phelp's ugly mug looking at me 
I guess VA must be outside the region....

feel sorry for you. I got mine today with DW shining on the front. Best looking cover photo since
Perry Tuttle back in '82! Hope to see more Tiger pics on the cover soon...great publicity for

They don't do them every week but do quite often. For example the college football preview had 4 different covers (OSU, Auburn, USC, and Oregon I think).

Sports Illustrated ain't what it used to be. You barely hear of it mentioned anymore, when it used to pretty much be the preeminent sports voice in the USA.
This isn't even a national cover, like the guy says, its not making it throughout even the ACC footprint. Heck, the Gamecocks have made several of these in recent past. Just a money grab by them and you all are falling head over heels for it. Print out the cover and frame it for your game room; that's really all you should do.
Do you really think this is the only magazine cover Deshaun Watson will ever be on? Do you have $1000 put aside to buy all the mags he will grace next season?
