This was a little less than that. It’s the 10 year. It is probably the smoothest I’ve had. Depending on how tonight goes I could have none left at the end of the night or I could have some to pour 5 years down the road lol!

Maybe save a touch for the National Title game if we make it that far.

Would you believe that the only place I could find that Antique Weller was in Ohio when I was visiting my son stationed there in the USAF.

I saw the booze, but with for me, the booze don't make a good meal. I mean not for me, it kills the taste of good food, IMO!!! I apologize if I took it the wrong way, but I took as nga tiger bragging about the booze he has, and if not, why paste it without a word about the the meal he's having with the booze!!!

Wow, take a chill pill, it was all in fun. FYI, I wasn’t trying to brag. These 2 bourbons were around $50 each, so these aren’t “bragging bourbons”. There is food involved today, Pork Loin in the slow cooker last night with carrots, onions, red potatoes and celery + garlic cloves, Collard greens, cornbread and chow chow for lunch today.

NM my comments below, too - got the impression these were high $$ bottles. (... of which I know nothing about lol!) Though I am pretty sure the Pappy Van Winkle ain’t cheap!
As for me, I begrudge no man or woman their success, glory, or riches. It was also there for me had I invested the time, work, talent and effort you put into it. As I raise my glass today (and tonight) I will toast you as well nga!
PS: I am certain the collards on New Years Day had something to do with it, as well. Just think if you had included black eyed peas, you could have REALLY been something! ??

Yes, blacked peas too. Soaked them overnight and on the cooktop now.

As much as I would love to get a taste of those, I just can't/couldn’t pull the trigger on paying that much. Maybe one day I will try to buy a glass to at least know what I’m missing. Guessing three fingers would set me back $30 (+/-), eh? In the meantime, I’ll just have to be content with my Woodford.
Here’s to hoping we’re ALL raising a glass to ANOTHER WIN over the bucknuts come 10 or 11 PM tonight!
GO TIGERS!!!

Nothing wrong with Woodford and if you need a change, Knob Creek single barrel. you can spend more .....can't get much better.

Looks tasty, I'll be going with my old standby of Elijah Craig small batch. I've got one or two pours if Blanton's left (can't find any more in NC) which I'll save in anticipation of a potential natty appearance.
