My new (est) Pet Peeve! When announcers refer to a player

as "...the transfer from XYZ University". Why name a school that the player felt inclined to leave?

It just muddies the water. Especially, with players that have made several stops.

(Chase Brice is still referred to as the "transfer from Clemson". What about the stop at Duke?)

I am fine with announcers making sure that Chase "The Hero" Brice is listed as a Clemson man.

Try not to remind folks of the 2020 Duke season. I think the South Carolina women provided a better pocket against Georgia than that Duke OL provided Brice in the covid year.

to mention any NIL deals the players have. Funny how that just never happens to come up? Clearly they have been told by the network bosses to stay away from it. If this NIL stuff is such a good thing why don't you guys want it brought up???
