that he is going to be out looking at some real estate, wink wink. I pretty much knew this would happen, he is out purchasing a house for me to show his appreciation. Hopefully, it has enough room to park a boat, because I will need him to get me one of those too.

last month he gave me the opportunity to take out a personal loan to pay off the entire company;'s debt. he said that this will afford me preferred walk-on partner status with the company. So yeah, my career has nowhere to go but up.

I see the problem here........you are thinking too small. You need to start sending him pictures of the jet that you need to get to your boat. If your boat can be parked in a driveway, then you’re not doing it right.
All joking aside. I quit my last job in 2020 when I didn’t get a raise at the end of the year and on Jan 2 the boss bought a horse for 2.2 million. The year before when he also didn’t give any raises, he bought himself 2 Ferrari’s just so he could look at them.

Yep I agree, it was past time to quit when he paid 2.2 mil for a horse bc there isn't that much horse back riding in the country, and you should have been gone right after the two Ferrari’s, and no raise. But before I would've quit, I would have copied every business secret he had, and published them on the internet in the how to section bc, if he has that much money to throw away on life's toys, he has business secrets, or he is probably doing something illegal, or unethical!!!! JMO

He did, but he loaned his nicest plane out to the Governor a half dozen times a year. That kind of charity pretty much solves your legal problems.
