A lot of these QBs want to go to the powerhouse so they can show off and win, DW4 and TLAW wanted to slay the giant and prove everyone wrong. Not every great is built that way but I think we are going to be alright with Cade who just got bumped up to the number one QB position

He is going to have to get a lot stronger. DW4 was a warrior and is a warrior when it comes to durability and taking a beating.

I believe he will, DW4 and T Law were really skinny when they came in, they’ll get him in that weight room. But I honestly don’t believe we ever had a chance to get Manning, bet he goes to Bama, or Ole Miss

Hope so to, but this generation wants to go straight to the “best” team and win an instant national title. That’s why DW4 and T Law were so special, they could’ve went anywhere but chose to take their own route and take the “best” down

DW4 also had to get stronger, and bigger when he got to Clemson. Remember the injuries he had when he first started getting his feet wet at Clemson....

The article mentioned that one thing Bama has going for them is that the QB position should open up his freshman year with Young being draft eligible in the spring before Manning arrives. That won’t be the case at Clemson. He would have to come in and take the job from Klubnick (or DJ?). You know he’s going to expect to start right away so that puts us at a disadvantage on this one. Timing is everything.

Seems to be a TL type guy.. doesn’t do much social media , seems to keep things close to chest.
Surely growing up a Manning he’s seen all the glitter and glamour of the college football world , and it seems like the real offer of our culture could be something appealing.
Could be completely off. Just a vibe.

I’d like to see him play at Clemson but we only want those who want to play in Clemson.
The recruits are getting a chance to see how well we stand behind our team when times are tough.
