I think getting to dance is easier but winning 6 is awful tough. I’m gonna go FB though

Football and it’s not even close. Ever see VCU or Gonzaga making the 4 team FB playoff?

Hard to compare basketball with football. One dynamic round baller can take you a long way. One D Watson will not win a lot of games for you.

How close have we come in hoops?

It depends on the school and sport. We're not winning a national title in hoops. You can't really compare the two very well. I don't even think Gonzaga has a football team. It depends on the school set up. Teams like the Gators can do both with the right coaches.

If you are a football school, winning a football NC is easier. If you are. Bball school, winning the tourney is easier. Apples and oranges is my point.

True. In basketball you can have a losing record and still me the national tournament by winning your conference tournament. A team can get hot for a few weeks and make the final 4 (coots). That doesn’t happen in FB. There is just less room for error.

From a recruiting standpoint football is tougher and it is not close. You can't just create the Nick Nolte "Blue Chips" scenario in a single year in football, even with a player as good as Watson. Too many other pieces have to be in place. Competitively though, winning a 6 round championship tournament is a lot taller order than a 2 round one.

I think it depends on starting pitching. But even then 64 teams have a chance. So definitely football. I mean, do you ever think you will see USuC in the football playoff? And they have 2 National Championships in BB!!!
