Yes she did and honestly, I loved every minute of it. Something she can't say against our Tigers twice this year at their home field.
Still think Cagle deserved first team over the glitter girl Garcia. At least Cagle got wood on the bat against her.

Ole Beth M. just said the last perfect game in WSWS was exactly 1 week prior to Fouts birth 21 yrs ago. That is pretty good. Fouts forgot it was her birthday, at post game interview they asked her how it felt on her birthday to throw perfect and you could see the shock in her expression, then replied, Oh I forgot! Then busted out with joy. That was cool.
Softball has really grown on me this year. I have a feeling that the west coast bias may have to change here in the very near future. I think Clemson looked better against Bama than #2 seed UCLA, but that might be Tiger Bias?!?

I thought they did too. I get it, it's been a west coast thing for years and there a lot of trophies held by the pac12 but let's be honest, not a lot of East Coast teams were in the games for a long time... Look at us, the ACC etc.
It was refreshing to see how humble Fouts was in that interview. As I've said in other past threads, I'm actually glad we got to play Bama and hit against her. Nothing like the team getting to see what it takes to be the best.

She was humble, more so than her father! He was one happy dude and he was running around hugging and Hi-5'ing everyone. Actually, good for him! I guess he still plays some softball league and he has played basically her entire life i guess he started a pitch and catch routine with her when she was 5yrs old. She was definitely a pitching machine in post season play so far!! She has double digit strike outs in every post season game through SEC tournament, regionals and WS. Pretty strong but she got hot towards end of season.

I just think her dad is a fanatic about NFL QBs. But I think he has a West Coast bias he needs to overcome with using Joe Montana and Dan Fouts.
