Mond at times seemed shell-shocked

Watching replays, where you can really see Mond's facial expressions & eyes - he did look lost a good bit. I guess those Ds from BV confused the Mond-ster.
The A&M road woes continue. Aren't they something like 1&4 now under Fisher?

BV put 3 of em back there and confused him and Fisher. Fisher looked as dumbfounded as Saban did during the NCG . LOLOL

Maybe it was the heat. I'd like to go back & count how many times their defense vs their offfense stopped play - supposedly for cramps or injuries. For guys who practice in Texas heat, they didn't seem well-prepared. Is our SC heat worse than Texas heat? Can't believe it would be.

Texas has dry heat, yes there is a difference. Walking or running in Las Vegas you can have salt crystals form on your skin, here it’s like a 5 gallon of water is poured on your head.

It really wasn't much different than this, and it was early in the game.

The Valley's crowned field seemed to affect him early on as well. Overthrew out routes multiple times. I remember as a kid, hearing Mr. Phillips talk about the effect the field's crown tended to have on visiting QB's.

The only time I saw a look of assured confidence on the kid's face was in pre game warmups . He had the headset on , was doing a lot of nodding ...looked loose and ready to go . After a couple of series he looked like he was trapped on a hill in Korea , out of ammunition and was just told there were not going to be any choppers coming .

No Horseshoe This Time

He didn't have a horseshoe up his buttock this time. Last year he made some; miraculous throws and WR's made some miracle catches! No such luck buddy!

It really looked to me like the only difference between this year and last was that he didn’t complete all those “throw it blindly into coverage and hope” passes. Also, our D didn’t have any busted coverages until the very last play.
