mlb draft and clemson commitments

has anyone heard anything about will taylor or bubba chandler. honestly if we could potentially land one that would be amazing. im hoping if we get one it would be chandler. it would be nice to have a switch hitting shortstop that also hit 97 on the mound.

No one has heard anything of substance as even the players won’t know until they learn where they are drafted and what is the offer. Draft is only a few weeks away so be patient

We may get lucky with one of them but it is unlikely in my opinion. I'm hearing they are throwing big bucks at the first round guys. It would be difficult to turn that down.

Said all along it depends on whether or not they want the college experience and get a degree. Also depends on how much football matters. Ty Olenchuk was a pretty good baller in football. Like most kids, the best sport is the one in season. Both have an equal chance to come in and be DJ's backup this season... Moreso Bubba per Dabo wanting him eventually at WR.

Neither are coming to Clemson to play for Monte. So imo, they'll come to give football a go. If both or either one go All In on football, they still won't see the baseball field. Dabo has them through first week in April and as elite as we are, each player has a to do list after April.

DJU was going to play both sports too.

neither Chandler or Taylor will play football at Clemson. Wish I was wrong but both will be top 20 picks next month in the MLB draft and will have close to 4 million bucks thrown at them. Would have liked to see Chandler spin the football for us and he would have helped with QB depth. Taylor would be a WR as per Dabo not QB
