"Mighty $EC" fun fact of the day

Aug 5, 2015, 8:45 PM

From 1996 to 2010, Missouri won the Big 12 North twice

Missouri has won the SEC East 2 out of 3 years since joining the conference

Missouri has made more appearances in the SEC championship game than South Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss COMBINED

Yet coots want you to think...

Aug 5, 2015, 9:00 PM

Missouri was a power in the Big 12.

Coots and every other SEC East fan outside of Columbia, MO dog Mizzou and say they're garbage, but when someone brings up a stat like this on Columbia, SC sports talk radio... Oh... Time to defend the Great Missouri Tigers!!!

Yesterday some coot responded to a stat like this saying "You tell him that Missouri has been in a bowl game 7 straight years!" Let's see... Going 6-6 gets you in a bowl. So being 6-6 or slightly better in the Big 12 means you're a world beater? Got ya loud and clear, SEC homers. Let's pray that OK ST or WVU doesn't join your SEC East. The original beasts of the East might never win another division title ever again. :(

Carolina's in Chapel Hill, USC's in California, and Columbia's in Missouri?

Remember that bs? I do. I also remember hearing that "those new Big 12 teams won't be able to compete in the SEC. No way, no how."

Sickening.

So you're saying Missouri got better by joining the SEC?

Everyone knew that.

An average program comes in and wins back-to-back division titles over "powerhouses" Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and your beloved cawks

Isn't it depressing that Missouri has accomplished more in 3 years than SC has in over 20?

And why didn't your coots get better when they joined the SEC?
