Miami got a 3rd Rivals 5 star commitment yesterday

Cristobal may bring The U back to prominence. How strong would the ACC be if Miami, FSU,and Virginia Tech all returned to what they were.

Miami is gaining strength. FSU might have navigated the ports the best over the past two years. Don’t see Va Tech challenging anyone anytime soon.

One of those 3 programs you mentioned does not match the group.

One was founded as a wimmens college. One was founded as a mens college. And the third was founded as a private college where thugs are invited to play football.

I'd not like to be right.
Praise Karma, should Hoki Hoki Hi's downward spiral be in some way attributed to it, if only because the Commonwealth's Legislature forced UVA to include that Blacksburg crap hole.
Let's hope this is the last we speak of this.
Oh, and happy Friday to all Tigers, and those that wish to be.

I am pretty sure a sizable NIL deal had absolutely nothing to do with Okunlola committing to Miami. Ohio State recruiting analysts have been saying he was all about NIL since about a year ago. There was always a little hope he would visit OSU but there was never any optimism he would sign with Ohio State or anyone who wasnt about that NIL life.

Pretty sure there is some serious NIL money being passed around Coral Gables. The playing field is not equal anymore.

The old money guys of Miami are prepared to bring them back. Lots of Nil in Miami. Miami and Fl State trying to dislodge us as king of the hill of the ACC. If we don’t use portal wisely since our recruiting is going to fall off because of Nil we are no longer going to be the king of the hill. Our time is passing in front of our eyes unless something changes. The trend is not good.

Agree with MIA and FSU sentiments

Both are on the mend - FSU a few years ahead of MIA. But VT was more of a one trick pony with most success during Michael Vick/Beamer years. VT is definitely a tougher draw.

I don't expect VT to do anything of relevance for a very long time. That program is so far underwater that they can't even see the sunlight shining through. Miami is still a wait and see although I think they'll be better in 2 more years barring an absolute exodus of players or firing Cristobal. We will find out what FSU is about next year and see if Norvell has plateau'd with them or not.
I'm hoping someone steps it up in this conference to become a true perennial contender besides just Clemson. I just don't see that ever coming from any other program in the ACC right now besides FSU or Miami which is sad to think about.
