Mods take out a very well-known poster whom I had enjoyed & even TU’ed some but one day 3-4 weeks ago he went berserk & started T-mailing me with some statements amounting to I should rot in hail and if I died he would be happy.
Can’t think of what I said on the FB forum that would cause that eruption out of the blue; maybe something said in Politics forum.
I got fairly upset & forwarded my concerns over to my Attorney (luckily my Clemson-UGa Law Grad Son) and he basically said to lay low and not cause any problems..
but I texted TN Bosses immediately and Bam, he was gone!

I know some of us talk junk back and forth with each other. To me, growing up playing and watching sports, talking junk is part of the fun. You would think that grown men would be well past the stage of allowing smack talk on the internet bother them but apparently that’s not the case. If me and the guys I work with can do it and laugh about it I don’t understand why Tigernet can’t be a place to have fun doing it too.
Threatening people or wishing them harm over sports, politics or internet discussions is inappropriate and shows a complete lack of understanding by those who engage in such things. I don’t have to agree with people to like them. I don’t have to root for the same team to like them. Humanity is much bigger than sports and divisive politics.

you must be talking about carl, I think he is on like his 3rd or 4th handle in there, and I seem to recall he just got a new one. I do not think you are out of the woods just yet.
But, to be fair, you posted on Friday that you wished all liberals would starve to death, but with far more colorful language, so let's not play the innocent victim here.

Wishing that someone would die is pretty strong feelings to have for another, but they should be careful, that wish of death could backfire, and happen to someone they care the most about. That would leave them regretting saying something like that for the rest of their useless life, for ever!!!

When I read that guy’s post I hoped the ‘mod’s’ would get rid of him/her. No place for that attitude, IMO, on here or anywhere else, really.
