The ITA released their first computer top 50 rankings of the season.

How does a school like Western Michigan field a team better than we can? Serious question, but #43 is pretty good considering we were supposed to be terrible.

I answered my own question, 2 players on their roster are from the US, the rest are from other countries.

Have a lot of international players and still aren't as good. There are good and bad international players just as there are good and bad American ones.

WMU is good in tennis because Kalamazoo is where the USTA junior championships are held every year and hence their facilities are pretty solid for a mid major. Also Michigan State is always terrible at tennis because they restrict tennis scholarships to only Michigan athletes, assuring that they always suck.
