Deon Cain….Am I the only one?

Who thinks he looks and moves like Calvin Johnson? He is unlike any talent that has ever been here. He is like a horse in a pony show. The talent level differential in his highlight video kinda reminds me of the Clowney video where it looked like he was playing against middle schoolers. This guy is going to be such an immediate impact.

No - Cain's a much better runner and very shifty.
Cain is also smaller.

I say he backs up Peake in our Field Receiver position, unless Peake doesn't come back healthy this fall. It all depends on how much of the playbook he grasps, and if they want him on the field or boundary. I expect RR3 to take snaps behind Scott in the slot if GHop doesn't step up.

Whoa nelly, pump the brakes a little bit! I love the enthusiasm but Megatron is a generational talent with his blend of size, reach, athleticism, and hands. Cain is a man amongst boys on tape for sure but he's a different kind of receiver. He's much smaller but has more lateral quickness. He should certainly carry on the tradition of "Wide Receiver U" for a bit, however

Cain does remind me of a shorter version of AJ Green though. AJ's real smooth in and out of his breaks, which makes DBs hard to stay with him like Cain. I look for Deon to immediately be Mike Williams' backup at the 9 position. I think Trevion backs up Peake at the 5 position and Ray Ray backs up Artavis at the 2 position. G Hop floats back and forth from the 2 and 5 position for added depth.

It's "Mark" Fields, and he may be the second fastest behind Charone Peake. I remember Peake racing Watkins, Bryant, Hopkins and Bellamy and dusting them all. He has 4.3 speed. I'd also like to think DC, MA, and RR3 have an argument as well

All I know is that when he runs and wears those high-visibility yellow shoes - they look like a blur. When he runs, he reminds me of the kid on The Incredibles - lol. Do we have to tell him to slow down so nobody will know he has superhuman speed?
