Wow. McCaffrey is a stud and Ship reminds me of him. If only Ship had just a bit more speed he would be even better. Hope Riley will use the Ship to move our offense.

They are totally different running backs with different styles, they only have 1 thing in common.

Shipley: 5'11", 205 lbs.
4.46 40-yd dash (Laser timed at Nike Opening)
6.36 55-meter dash (NC state champion)
Clocked at 21.91 MPH
McCaffery 5'11" 205 lbs.
4.48 40-yd dash (at NFL combine)
Clocked at 21.01 MPH
Both are very tough, physical runners in addition to being very fast. Both have shown the ability to make tacklers miss. Both are effective as receivers coming out of the backfield.
What am I missing?

But McCaffery seems wayyyyy quicker than Ship and, honestly, I wouldn't have believed the numbers provided after watching Ship the past couple of years.
Ship looks like he runs a 4.5-4.6 on the field. Hard runner and plays like he's 235 vs 205. I'd be curious to see how Ship performs at the Combine in the next year or two (he strikes me as a guy who might decide to comeback, even with a great year).

McCaffrey has more naturally gifted speed and quickness. He was able to gain strength by getting bigger. Shipley can get faster, but it’s still not the same level as McCaffrey.

There both white. McCaffrey has way more wiggle and the balance of a gymnast. Ship has speed needs to work on his balance and flexibility and quit playing so tight. Hopefully with the more open offense he can play a lil more free

Ship is a very good RB but McCaffrey is a bad comparison. DJ made more tacklers miss than Ship did this season.

In what way is this trolling? Just because they have similar physical attributes doesn't mean they have the same playing style. Shipley is going to be Shipley, and in my opinion that is enough.
