Sorry to see that, because Marcus Spears was one of the analysts who called out his colleagues for making excuses for Alabama last year after we dominated them.
Seems his objectivity stops at the LA state line. And his decorum.
Orlovsky's point stands: nobody is playing better than TL right now. Burrow included. Burrow deserves the Heisman, given the fact that they don't wait for bowl performance, because he has the better overall year. But I'll take TL in the playoffs.

I'm not convinced LSU will beat Oklahoma , but if they do we'll get to see the SEC champion in the National Championship ( which is in their home state btw ) and we'll get to have the opportunity to beat that conference's champion for yet another national title in consecutive years .
This would be a most excellent thing .

Lawrence:
127 of 170 for 1,862 yards, 23 tds and no interceptions. QBR 211.4
Burrows:
189 of 226 for 2,513 yards, 23 tds and 3 interceptions. QBR 208.0
TL also has been sacked 8 times to Burrows’ 20 and has 248 rushing yards on 48 attempts and 2 TDS vs Burrows’ 184 yards on 61 attempts and 1 TD.
Does that mean TL is playing better than Burrows? Not necessarily. It does, however, mean that guy was being a fool to laugh and walk away at the suggestion. Sit down and have the discussion, jerk.
