called to this morning to pitch a business proposal to me. He said, "Spud, you should start a guide service for spottails and trout.....you could "REEL" them in by promising " AT LEAST 3 SIDEWAYS PICS".....

I always thought the fish looked bigger in sideways pics rather than the up and down ones.

Spud, I just watched Jacob Wheeler flip over a walkway o a boatramp, hook a fish, get it caught up in a cable, get it loose and when he pulled it out of the water there was a three foot water snake that came with it.

Can your guide service promise that kind of excitement.

Hook set. That ain't near as exciting as Dean Rojas a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure it is on youtube.

I live in central Florida. We have pet gators bigger than that one. ??

It's been so long since I've been salt water fishing I think that third picture is a trout, but I'm not sure.

BTW, 30 minutes after Wheeler pulled that bass and snake out of the boat dock, he hooked another bass. The brass boke his line on some underwater cable or rock or mussels or something. Wheeler managed to reach in the water grab the line and then handline him inot the boar. 4 1/2 pounder.

As they say on the PGA Tour, "These guys are good."
