Matt McMahon hiring press conference at LSU...

He was very impressive. Saw the Field of 68 last night, and insider Jeff Goodman is not sure how well he will fit in at LSU and the SEC, because he is too much of straight shooter and won't bend rules in recruiting, and know the games in the AAU system. The rumor was that he wanted the South Carolina job that was expected to open and/or an ACC job in the Carolinas like Clemson but none of those jobs were opening. He is from Tennessee and played at Appalachian State. Tennessee wasn't opening and Rick Barnes will at least be there a couple more years. Since SC was concentrating on Sean Miller, McMahon was LSU's top candidate and offered too much money for him to pass up -- $2.5 million/yr for 6 years which included an additional 2 years with the violations coming. I am confident if LSU stays out of Mcahon's way and let him do things the right way, he will be a big winner.

I do feel like Clemson missed out, and he would have been great at Clemson because his culture is similar to Dabo's. He can really identify with the under the radar recruits that maybe some of the blue bloods might miss out on like NBA players Ja Morant and Cameron Payne , but will also pick up recruiting top 100 type recruits because he relates well with the players today. All of his players, say he makes practice fun and a very rewarding experience. Well, Clemson needs to move on hopefully with Brad being successful but will have to wait and see.

Dude why is everything you post negative about Clemson basketball. Brad is coming back next year no matter how much you whine. Stop randomly picking coaches you think would have been a “great” hire

Just posted that LSU got the opposite of Will Wade. If LSU gets out of his way, he will do a good job.
I finished with since Clemson didn't get him, now just hope Neff gives Brad what he needs to be successful... I'm out...
