Man, I thought some of the football meltdowns were bad

Jan 25, 2013, 8:10 AM

Some of you guys are either coots, or just ridiculously ignorant....if you thought a year with almost all underclassmen and two seniors was gonna be anything but a rebuilding year, you're nuts. Our boys have been in every game with the exception of dook at cameron indoor. They're scrappin and clawin and leavin it all on the floor...pretty soon some of these bounces are gonna go our way, and I hope you schmucks go back to your hole when they do

Agreed. I have watched Clemson basketball since the later days of Fike. Brownell is 1 of 3 best coaches to lead the Tigers in all the years I've watched Clemson BB. This is the toughest job on campus. The man can coach. He does not have to recruit the best talent in the country, just good coachable players because, did I mention, the man can coach. Coach Brownell and his staff have proven they can coach up average players that are willing to listen. I don't care if he, in other peoples opinion but not mine, is dry as toast. I find Coach Brownell to be a good ambassador, classy, focused and in control. We don't need a showboat. The man can out coach most every coach in our conference no matter how much more talent they seem to have. We are competitive and just a shot or 2 away from several more wins a season. These 4 or 5 more wins will make all the difference in the world over the next couple of seasons. This is a very young team, they are working hard and are fun to watch as they fight and scratch to win. The Tigers always play hard every game and never let the fans down by just walking through games even when things are tough. Leave the man alone, he is a winner and will make Clemson a winner. Support is one of the main ingredients in building a success program. Criticism is the most detrimental.
