Malik Zaire to UNC?

Nov 30, 2016, 4:41 PM

Jared Shanker
ESPN Staff Writer

Notre Dame quarterback Malik Zaire said he received his release from the school and is seeking a transfer. He is blocked from transferring to a school on the Fighting Irish's 2017 schedule with the exception of North Carolina. Schools that Zaire is considering are Florida, Pittsburgh, UNC and Wisconsin, a source told Matt Fortuna. Zaire graduates in December and will be eligible right away.

Why would that be an exception?

Because he has already graduated and doesn't need any more classes....and since UNC doesn't make their players go to real classes....

the "C" in NCAA stands for COLLEGIATE. Since UNC athletes aren't required to go to class they're not in College, therefore the NCAA has no jurisdiction over them.

UNC is like Swiss Banking, they have all of the trappings of a bank, without all of the cumbersome rules that get in the way.

I think he would be awesome at Pitt

Why? After 2 successful plays in a row...

Fedumbace would just sit him the rest of the half.

Right, Elijah?

If he graduates in December then he doesn't need a release or permission to go anywhere. That makes no sense to me.
