The media

Mar 16, 2022, 1:27 PM

I flipped channels a few minutes ago and saw the President sign an order to send $800 million in military supplies to Ukraine. After the signing, one of the reporters was saying that people in the devasted area were wondering where the US was in all of this. Where are we supposed to be? No NATO nation has been attacked yet and we cannot enter the war unless we risk WWIII. It doesn't matter who our President is or what decisions he or she would make, the media always questions and tries to start trouble. Does the media not value our way of life anymore?

The media is no longer journalists, they are pot stirrers.

another war ever unless a NATO country is attacked, but many Americans feel differently.

Agree it is still a legitimate question.

We all know the answer but it is basically a question the Ukrainians are asking. Even though they know the answer. And Zelensky knows the answer. But like a salesman who hears no, you gotta keep looking for the yes.

I am 67 years old. About 30 years ago, we had REAL moralists. What ever station they were on, they knew as long as the news is on, people would change the channel. Now all News has to be 'sensationalized' to sell more commercial space.

Most commentators feel they have to 'stir the pot' (to make thing interesting).

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to transport the military supplies left behind in Afghanistan to Ukraine?

Over 90% of all networks worldwide are owned by 6 corporations. And those 6 are all presenting the same message. That is propaganda, not journalism. Our president in 2013 signed a law allowing government propaganda.

Things are not as they seem. The targeted sites in Ukraine are Biolab sites, not civilian sites. Unfortunately there will be some innocent people killed, but that is not the intent.

Do some research into "why?" and "who benefits?" to get a better picture of what is going on. You can start by looking into the ideas and policies of the World Economic Forum.

Most of what you're sayin is BS, Russian planes have been firing on hospitals, business, and apartment building with full intentions of killing as many civilians as possible trying to force the Ukrainian president to surrender bc Russia is slaughtering the Ukrainian civilians, and to believe or think anything other than what is truly happening is just ASININE bc, what is happening in Ukraine is exactly what evil dictator's to force their will on others. Only a bubbleheaded person refuses to see the truth when the truth is right in front of you. A picture can say a lot, but a video says it all when you look, and when a person tries to tell other people what they are seeing for themselves isn't what they are seeing, that is simply absurd at best!!!!

And who is telling you this? The mainstream media? :) The same media that is presenting photos from years ago as current ones?

So yes, looks pretty calm February 23rd.

I have lived in Europe, South America, and Asia. I currently don't live there now.

Just try to be more open minded and to ask questions. Don't take anything at face value ... and you'll learn a lot more about what really is going on. Or you can listen to mainstream media and let them decide how you should see the world, think, and behave... :) Have a great day.

Mar 16, 2022, 2:12 PM

None of us know what it's like to have a war on our soil here in the US, bc none of us were alive during the civil war, or during the taking of this country back from England.

I will say that I don't see how a country that is suppose to be a leader in the world sit back and allow other humans to get slaughtered like what's happening in Ukraine. Most of those people have never held a firearm, much less how to use it like we do in America. What we're see happening in Ukraine is wrong, and I believe that with what, who America is suppose to be for the rest of the world, we should at least give the Ukrainian military everything that we use in war when they are fighting against one our biggest enemy's in the world.

That includes our best war plane that can defeat what Russia has been using against the innocent civilians in Ukraine. Wart hogs will destroy all of Russia's tanks, and their surface to surface missiles. The F-35 will take out most of what planes Russia is using for air to surface missile strikes and bombing.

If Russia brings in their Sukhoi, Su-37 fighter jets, or their Sukhoi, Su 57 that really hasn't been tested against our best, and our best is the F-22 Raptor that no other country will be allowed to have bc, it is believed to be the best fighter jet in the world today. But Russia sells their best to anybody, and they can be gotten, and sent to the Ukrainian military to fight against Russia. They need our help, and I believe we should give it to them!!!
