If it was up to guys like you, Tommy Bowden would still be lip quivering and tugging on grass. Why can’t you handle any criticism when it’s deserved? Every dang post I read on here you White Knight it. Are you Munson?

True, but our offense should have been able to go blow for

blow with them. We were up 17-7 and then got outscored 35-8. Our defense had a bad night, but everyone's defense did against them. Our offense had too much talent to score only 8 points in the last three quarters. Even with Lawrence, our offense would go long stretches of the game without scoring against below average teams.

I thought we played as well as we could but their QB and WRs

made amazing plays against excellent coverage and we just didn't have the fearsome pass rush we've had in previous years. Can't let a good QB get comfortable and our defensive front the last two years just didn't put any fear into anyone.
This year is on the offense.

We didn't run ETN for like the last 3 quarters. That is on us. We may have not stopped them, but we didn't use all of our weapons the entire game.

Oh my God. Look up how many draft picks LSU had. We had no chance.

That is not a good take. They were better, but yes Tony was bad then and is still bad.

Elliott’s resume speaks for itself. Heck, we were getting punished by Ohio State the game before, then Elliott adjusted with some different plays for the win. The adjustments were the only reason we even made the championship game. We had 400 yards, but LSU had 628. Burrow threw for 438 and 5 TDs, and the running back had 110 yards on only 16 carries. Once we got down two scores them we threw most of the rest of the way. We lost the game because we couldn't stop them. Same way they beat everyone.

Uh, yes, yes they were. I think Clemson 2018 beats LSU 2019 handily. That was a better team than Clemson 2019 in every way but one (Simmons). But LSU 2019 had the best passing offense in history and we had slower corners and lacked a good defensive line to create pressure. LSU beats Clemson 9 times out of 10 in 2019.

That's fine, there offense was better than our defense, but none of that explains sitting ETN for 2.75 quarters.

surrounded by even more NFL talent. If you can't admit that we flat out got outmanned by LSU in 2019 AND Ohio State in 2020, then you are just delusional. And, even if you WON'T admit it, the result will never change.
