LOVED how our whole team jumped up to defend

Jan 2, 2013, 1:03 PM

the Clemson name when a few of the LSU players ended up right by our sidelines running their mouths. We had guys coming off of the benches, ripping their helmets off, etc. Hope to see more of that fire in the future!!!

Same here.

Maybe I'm making too big a deal of it, but I do think it displayed a swagger and attitude that was missing vs. South Carolina.

Loved it.

We finally played with that headhunter mentality that's been missing for several years now. Also loved the way Ellington handled all those hits when the LSU players would get in his face after. Looked like he just smiled and said "Ha, jokes on you, I just got a 1st down."

Couldn't agree more. It was nice to see...

Players like Hot Rod and Beasley get in LSU player's faces after they hit nuk on the sideline, and same thing on the late hit on Blanks. Nice to see us with more swag and toughness. It's a fine line between being tough and being a dirty team with players acting like thugs (South Carolina), but I liked what I saw.

That was the Clemson we know and love
