Love My Tigers....Consider These Ideas (Long Warning)

and highly likely presumptions:

1) Vast majority of TNET love their Tigers and experiencing confusion and disappointment. I would suspect most of us here are very happy with the results of the Dabo era.

2) The offense is as disjointed and ineffective as it has been in at least 20 years, but it mostly has good enough personnel to get a lot better. A lot of upside to exploit here.

3) The defense is one of the more talented we have had. Not fully elite, but getting there. This group must be the bastion of hope until the Offense finds it's way.

4) This offense has to gel FAST, find leadership, communication and work as a team. There is no way with the number of top rated players on that offense that the majority are total busts and just lack talent. There just appears to be no synergy and ability to sustain balanced drives.

5) If you read all 6,542 posts on TNET over the last 36 hours you will literally find in excess of 100 different ideas to "Fix" the problem. I think I saw a post about we need to drop a cat from the upper deck into a flag and one certainly about new batteries for the Oculus. Our staff I'm sure is sweating and living this poignantly every minute.

6) 99.9% Of us here on TNET never played football at the FBS Top 25 level or coached football beyond Pop Warner or maybe Middle/High School and if we did we don't have near the resume of our current staff. Whether we like it or not, we either trust we have the right staff or we don't. We are fans and we do what fans do well....prognosticate and gripe.

I am guilty of this griping myself, but I came to the following conclusion after feeling bad about Clemson Football since the UGA game. I am not going to take the media bait and bias anymore wherein if the talking heads say Clemson sucks it, it must be true. The sell-out mouthpieces of the evil Disney empire have their own agenda and it has NOTHING to do with promoting Clemson, unless it helps their cause to propagate their SEC. Even if Clemson were 3-0 and had no obvious flaws, ESPIN would make something up to make us feel uncomfortable.

I'm done with feeling icky. I enjoy Clemson Football as a release and a connection to my Alma Mater and am going to try to enjoy the ride, though it's very scary and bumpy now. I trust Dabo and crew's intentions and am going to have faith that the program will keep improving, hopefully fast enough to keep winning. GO TIGERS !!
