It’s pretty telling that you had to reply to your own message … don’t think the majority of Clemson fans are freaking out about how our HC handles the program .. seems to be doing just fine

Agree it will be tougher in this changing landscape, but I wouldn't call the chaotic climate created by players compounding both the TP compliance tool & NIL legislation; (the TP as an avenue for a new NIL contract), "evolved"-

that the coaches did a great job of picking up the pieces after unforeseen problems arose.
And we’re REALLY excited about the 2023 class which could easily end up being a top 5 if we get the players we think we will get.
AND we’re about 200 days away from seeing one of the most talented defenses we’ve ever had.
No one owes me an apology for who we are or who we are signing. Go Tigers!!

Comes down to heart, not talent.
I wouldn’t trade 100 Clowneys, Chases, or Burrows for guys like Renfrows, Jarretts, & Grishams.

That would be awesome if we could pick up a roster of those types players in the same recruiting season, but it just don't happen, even when a coach recruits 6-7 three stars in the same season. The coots have been doing that for years with the exception when Spurrier was the HC. He brought in a lot of 4 stars players sprinkle in a few 5 star player and had the best seasons the coots had ever had in their history of college FB. Spurrier finally had enough of being a head FB coach, and those 4 star players faded away, and they went to who they had always been with a team loaded with 3 star players!!!
