Louisville

Jun 20, 2017, 5:10 PM

Which Louisville will the 2017 team be more like?

Hi! I'm Early Season Louisville and I have Directv! I score on EVERYONE; hung 62 points on Florida State and took Clemson to the wire. Our boy Lamar Jackson was so sick, we shut the Heisman Race down by Mid October.

Hi! I'm Late Season Louisville and I have Cable! Because I spent literally the entire month of October with Clemson in my Dome, telling anyone and everyone that would listen how our loss was actually a win because both our Team and QB clearly outplayed them- that i forgot the season doesn't end on Halloween. Since no team after Wake Forest would give us their Playbook, we lost our last 3 games to Houston, Kentucky, and LSU. We had Kentucky beat until our Heisman golden boy QB decided that padding his stats was more important than a victory over our hated in-state rival Kentucky for our team and fans.

Somewhere in between.

Louisville could very well be 10-2 end of reg season

Could be even better. Could be even worse,

My guess is 9-3.

Would like it to be
Clemson 12-0
FSU 11-1
Louisville 10-2

I'm sorry, but hasn't Stripperville lost a TON of players from last year? Like 3 OL players, a RB worth 900 yards on the ground, our boy JAMES QUICK, who can't see first down markers, their TE on offense, a DL, 2 LB's 1 SS on defense. That's a LOT of attrition. I think last year was Stripperville's year (similar to Tennessee in that facet). I wouldn't be surprised if NC State was a tougher game. They've taken a step forward (outside of keeping Doeren), while to me it looks like Louisville can only regress.

Clemson lost a ton of players too.

Louisville will be a challenge for us.

Outside of QB, our returnees are far better than their returnees on both sides of the ball. I'll side with our defense over LJ any day of the week.

Yeah, I just think our program is much deeper in the two man rotation than Louisville. But, that's probably due to me wearing some orange tinted glasses. I just don't like their o-line. I mean it was rough last year and they lose three more guys there? But hey, then again, their line was sub-par last year, so maybe addition by subtraction.
