Losing is painful

Jan 2, 2021, 5:55 PM

We’ve gotten use to winning. That’s a good thing. But stop the complaining about the referees and jabs at people from Ohio. We got our ##### handed to us. We will be back.

Losing is painful indeed. It is more painful when we contributed to our loss by playing stupid on both sides of the ball. Offense spent more time wasting downs, wasted four downs by punting instead of going for first downs, and did not score enough. Defense was worse. You cannot win games by standing around doing nothing and not covering the opposition. If I were Brent Venables, several defensive players would have warmed benches for playing stupid.
