...Stanford will need to beat UCLA twice ... next week to reach the Pac title game and again in that game ... to cement a BCS spot. A loss in either game pushes them out of the picture.

I suggest we stomp a mudhole in the Capons, get FSU to do the same to the Gators and let the computers spin things any way they'd like. Dropping UCS and Fla will have ancilary effects across the SEC's rankings.

Ultimate sweetness would come from GTech getting past the Dawgs, but ... well, let's see how things develop.
