Well you can't be talking about Coach Brownell since he was hired 2 years before Dan Rad started.

DRad gave him a 2 year extension in august for losing to a terrible Rutgers team in the first round of the NCAAT…. Uncalled for and infact malpractice, he had no options and wasn’t going anywhere and extension through 26 for a bad season is absurd.

D-Rad kicked the can down the road and never stepped up and fired Brad as he knows he should have. He listed to those insiders that liked Brad. In other words, rather than being a good AD he played politics. Now Neff is left holding the bag. That is what I call cleaning up D-Rads mess. Happens all the time in the business world.

Dabo himself being one of those insiders

Gotta admire Dabo's loyalty but he quite frankly should have not had anything to say about BB, just maybe we might would be in a post BB Clemson basketball world...

Graham Neff's first hire will be a big moment for himself as well Clemson Athletics and definitely a tone setter for sure. The question is will it come from a Men's or Women's Basketball hire or a Baseball hire.

Not really…..fire CBB and Monte Lee right behind him (if he does not turn it around this season)…..doing just that will at least bring some change and hope for the future of our basketball and baseball teams……most Clemson fans are just plain tired and fed up with what we have now…..just hope he has the gonads to DO HIS JOB!

Everybody makes bad hires. It's just life.

At multiple schools? His hires at GT weren't that great either I thought.

I remember Bill McClellan a former AD that loved Clemson and wanted us to do well in all sports. He did not play politics with the ADM. He cared more for the fans than sucking up to the ADM to keep his job. I hope Neff is another Mr. McClellan.
