Judge has been too preoccupied of putting down the football team. Did not even give us an opinion of the scouting report of the team after the exhibition game last week, or on the status of priority recruits Lubin, and Godfrey.

Yeah, he never gave us what his opinion was of the scrimmage. @nctigs gave a great wrap of it though. @nctigs is thinking we may have some good news by today with Ven Allen. He's announcing today. Would be a huge pickup for Clemson.

I predict a finish anywhere from 5th-8th from us. I also predict another NCAA appearance.

I feel like we could be really good if a few things fall into place:

- Ian Scheifflin or MiddleBrookes stepping up to provide quality depth. It sounds like Scheifflin could be that guy.
- PJ Hall Significantly progresses and can stay out of foul trouble.

I am very excited to see honor and Dawes starting together. We should see better offense this year. If we can rebound and stay out of foul trouble, we could be pretty good.

Great post. I agree -- this team should be much more competent offensively than just about any Brownell team at Clemson.

My biggest worry about this team is rebounding/interior defense. I think our on-ball defense will be pretty much just as good as it always is, but we are going to struggle at times with defending the paint. Ben Middlebrooks needs to step up especially in this regard, which is a tough ask for a freshman...however he's a lot more physically built than most freshmen we've brought in.

Really excited for Tuesday!
