The intent, as I understand it, was to improve visibility, similar to the reason behind the decision to change the US collegiate and professional balls to a brighter color of orange.

Would thrive there. They need experience no doubt with 5 freshmen, but a stiffer test would be far more valuable experience. Playing against scrubs doesn't sharpen what needs sharpening.

Trips like these can be valuable for team chemistry. But the competition here compared to a few years ago is severely lacking. These freshmen need to run a gauntlet if we're to have any real chance this year. They have to play and play a lot, we have no choice. 5 of the top 11 have never played a college game, and 7 of the top 11 have little experience playing major minutes

Yeah, these young guys have some talent and athletism, but this might be Coach Brownell's youngest team at Clemson. Don't think there is probably enough experience around them to make up for the difference. Time will tell...
