They make it sound as if the Clemson Vikings have come to Tennessee to rape and pillage their lands and they demand reparations!
The salt is unreal.

Degrees of separation you could make this same argument for a lot of schools/coaches. I think it's funny what people get paid to write these days. That was garbage. +1 again for your name

Several of those 'sandlappers' who ended up at UT were recruited exclusively by Brooks. Remember Hainsworth? I may have misspelled that but was a super NFL guy

look, dude. Quit trying to make yourself feel better by trying to take some credit for OUR Natty. We don't owe TN a #### thing. Matter of fact, ya'll owe us. Remember the two football recruits back in the 80s who pressed charges on our program, that never even attended a day of school? Tee and Amari kind of make that ironic, huh?
ALso, as far as Lame Kitten goes. He would have NEVER coached at Clemson. I know he had an interview but that was it and if you think IPTAY board would forget what his father, Monte did to us at NC State, your crazy. Lane's father is a big reason for the probation during the 80's. My source? Romping and Stomping the book about Danny Ford. Pick it up at your local bookstore. Good read.

I'll agree with him on a couple of points...

1) Clemson is definitely benefiting from Tennessee being down. Arguably we contributed to them being down with the Peach Bowl upset a decade ago. Many TN fans I know consider that game a turning point (in a bad way) for their program.
2) It's not a horrible idea to have a Prowl n Growl in Middle or East Tennessee. Knoxville may generate some negative publicity, but Chattanooga is somewhat ripe for it. I'm biased because Chattanooga is where I live, but Chattanooga is not at all a Vol-dominated city. Honestly there may be more Alabama and Georgia fans here than Vols. It's certainly those three competing for most fans. Clemson making it's presence known by scheduling a Prowl n Growl here would put those programs on notice that we aren't going to stop invading "their" land. I have already seen 3x as many Clemson car magnets, etc. than I used to here. How about we fully take over Chattanooga?
GO TIGERS! Ken

I like the sarcastic
"Clemson may pick up another commitment"
At the end of the article. I can almost taste the salt in their tears

I'm still ticked at UT for stealing Stanley Morgan (Easley HS QB - played WR for UT - and beat us with his catch). This happened 40+ years ago and they can never repay that debt. Tell those deadbeats that they still owe CLEMSON a lot.
