Last year we turned the ball over 6x and were still within a touchdown in the 4th quarter! I didn't know Dabo threw 2 picks and muffed 2 punts. Same story is said for 2012, we turned the ball over 4x in that game I believe. On top of that, Boyd got sacked 3or 4 times and our defensive backs dropped 3 INT that were thrown right into there hands and just flat out dropped them. We had chances to win the past 2 yrs and our players messed up, not dabo. Absolutely ridiculous that some of you guys want to blame every single loss on the coaches. 5 in a row is painful, but the players deserve more of the blame than the coaches

I like Dabo, and I was advocating for Chad before he even came. I think they are both good coaches. But Clemson is 1-6 vs. FSU and SCU since Chad Morris took over the offense, and since 2009, Clemson is 4-14 vs. teams that go on to win ten games.
I think we should be a comparable program to LSU, AU, SCU, and UGA... all of which are much, much better over the same time period against teams who win 10 games.
Yes, Dabo has some two good bowl wins, and he beat VT twice in 2011.
However, the trend is that we lose too many games where talent is equal and coaching is a premium. Dabo has done a fantastic job of winning the games we should... b/c we do out-talent 85% of our schedule, and it's not even close.
But we have to start winning some of these games where the talent is equal, and coaching is a premium.

I still don't see how the last 2 games against SC were on the coaches. Like I said 2 muffed punts, 3 INT, and 1 fumble I believe. Hard for dabo to control that. The first 3 were on the coaching staff but not the last 2. I know going 4-14 against teams that have equal or greater talent is not a great stat but dabo is still a young coach, he's still learning and we cant expect him to win every game. Not trying to argue with you but I believe the players deserve some of the blame on a few of these games, its not all on the coaches

Here's how I see it.
The coaches are also responsible for the mentality of the players. Some combination of a lack of focus, nervousness or indifference is responsible for these kinds of untimely gaffes.
Obviously, the players have to execute. But it seems to me our players have had a deer in headlights look at times over the past few years against SCAR and FSU that I can't help but believe is somehow related our locker room culture.
Flame me all you want. But teams that aren't filled with headcases (coaches OR players) don't turn the ball over 6 times.

The most anti-Clemson post I've ever heard. Dump on the players who ARE Clemson football in favor of a guy hired and paid to run the team and who odds say will coach elsewhere eventually.
WHO is responsible for preparing the players for big games, their parents?? No it's all goes back to the coaches. Fumbles and all. Bet you give all the credit for 2011 ACC, 2012 Peach, and 2013 Orange to Dabo tho right? Honestly, are you a paid shill?

If u can read, I said that. Dabo and co preach no turnovers all the time in practice. Adam humphries was clutch on catching punts until the SC game. Remember that trick play when Sammy under threw the ball to a wide open Humphries? I guess Sammy wasnt mentally coached well enough to throw ball a little but harder. I guess Humphries wasnt coached well enough to catch those punts when they practice it everyday. The players let Shaw run all over them. Venables said after the game that he called everything he could to spy Shaw. The coaches still had us in a position to win that game in the fourth even after all of those mistakes. Sometimes the players need to take ownership in these mistakes, it wasnt because they weren't "mentally prepared". I'm in no way blaming every loss on the players. Most of our loses were on the coaches but the last 2 against SC were on players. Its my opinion and if u don't agree with it that's fine

and we dump him? NO WAY, dude! You have to look at his over all record, not a series against one team.
I LOVE DABO! DABO LOVES CLEMSON! Dabo is CLASS all the way. He supports his players all the way.
We should be ALL IN, just like Dabo is. Hopefully the players will win and protect Dabo's job.

Before you all get giddy about firing and hiring, how about sit back and watch the Florida situation. If Florida has a tough time getting a "big name" coach, what are the odds Clemson would get one after the current coach's record is fairly impressive, yet you sent him packing. Don't forget the setback in the loss of the recruiting class caused by the firing of Bowden. This had a ripple effect for a number of years. A firing would likely lose many of your recruits for next year and set the clock back yet again.
