ESPN is already starting the thought to shut out a one loss Clemson

From playoffs to make room for 2 SEC teams plus a future SEC team. If we lose(and we can against another top 5 team)- we will be locked at 6 or 7 going into the ACC championship game. They SAY it would be nice to have a playoff shakeup but what they really mean is a no Clemson, multi SEC team playoff and champion. It is hard to beat the narrative when voting time comes at the end f season for playoffs

They’re the main reason we’ve had so much trouble getting in the playoffs in recent years, imho.

ESecPN knows it is losing its leverage. Have to create all the pro-SEC narratives they can, while they still can. When all the SEC has to play is each each other. . . Game Over for both.
On another note, the addition of Rinaldi to FOX is great. Glad he was able to escape the stupidity of ESPN. I can very easily see FOX gaining some TV ground with college football through the Alliance and other conferences finally willing to rebuke the BS of the other network.

The good thing is that the committee hasn't seemed to be swayed by their bias.

Clemson will be alright. Just record all the negative talk to have a great time playing it back after we prove them wrong again. Those are always some of my favorite montages especially the ones about “little man” Renfrow.

well even if the score was 100-2 and the safety coming on the last play of the game with the waterboy in at QB36- ESPN would say that it was a good loss by Georgia and any break would have swung the game in their favor and they should, by all rights be moved to number three in the country with a real shot at being in the playoff - with a really good chance of winning the whole thing.

Get a grip folks, lose the opener and the playoffs are a long shot. The ACC is not that good to make up ground and last years beat down does not help.
A one loss SEC team will get in before a one loss Clemson.

We are the premier team in college football and have been for nearly a decade. We will not get left out with one loss. Especially one top 5 loss.

I agree it's not likely but not impossible Clemson is left out with one loss. The SEC champ is in. Oklahoma and Ohio State could run the table. Even if they don't, as one loss conference champs they are likley in. There are three of the four slots. If UGA beats Clemson and then wins out, but suffers a close loss to an unbeaten Bama team in Atlanta, I think the Dawgs are in over Clemson.

True, we have been one of the premier programs in college football, but we aren’t exactly trending up. 2018 is getting farther in the rear view mirror. To maintain membership in the elite group, we’ve got to do more than run the ACC table.

People have short memories. Clemson has been in 6 years in a row and 2 of those were after late season upsets by both Pitt and Syracuse. We have no idea what Clemson's future opponents will be ranked by the time the Tigers play them including the Coastal champion assuming we make the ACCCG. Bunch of worry over nothing. Just win your games.

Good thing ESPN isn't an owner of ACCN and payer of revenue to the ACC.

Every fan base says ESPN hates them. When I lived in Tennessee that was Vols fans #1 gripe and they are in the SEC.
