If you're recruiting a one-and-done talent, this is the LAST pitch you would use. Zion is getting drafted whether he goes to Duke, Clemson, or North Greenville.
He doesn't need to go somewhere that has a "history" with one-and-done's because it's going to happen for him regardless.

That said- not sure he is the program changer people think. He will be a season changer for sure, but expect him to be in school 1 year.

Furman and Clemson and told me they were excused absence days from high school. I went with him for a fun trip, which ut was, and loved Clemson.
Doesn't matter how or why you get on campus, it will either draw you in or not.
But you never know if you're never there.

Here's a tip, the recruits are all coming because they get in for free. That's how it works. And it's worked pretty dang good the last several years. HTH.

Yea it's been working for football, basketball is a different story. We're not bringing in the big time recruits ON THE COURT, not field. This whole post was about basketball recruiting lol

I know all about recruiting, I was just asking you guys is it a genuine visit ? Or is he coming just to watch the game? He was at the Louisville game last year(another big one) and I think he came to just ONE basketball game vs UNC or duke can't remember...

He hasn't been on Clemson campus since the UNC basketball game, almost 10 months ago but yea he's high on Clemson alright... Because I don't agree with you I don't know anything about recruiting ?? I think you're proposing that we decline a five star basketball recruit an official visit because he wants to come to a big game. Which would be the dumbest recruiting decision in the history of recruiting.

So, you're worried he's using us for free visits. Just like the vast majority of 5* recruits do in all sports with multiple schools during their recruitment.
However, you don't think we should do anything about it, and you don't even know if you're right.
