whose right hand doesn't know what its left hand is doing. It took me almost a month to finally reach the end of the refrigerator saga, where I managed to get my refund, since they didn't HAVE, and couldn't GET a fridge like I needed in any sort of short time frame, AFTER I had already paid for one.

Today, over a week after I finally got refunded, I get a letter in the mail from Lowe's wanting me to purchase an extended protection plan...on the refrigerator I never got. I can laugh at their stupidity now, but it wasn't funny for a LONG time.

I wouldn’t recommend the extended warranty.

I was making a hefty purchase when redoing my shed (frame was good but had to replace exterior walls and roofing and put in a double door). So, I had cash but I decided to take them up on the credit card offer for this one purchase to take advantage of the 20% discount, pay it off immediately, and then cancel. The lady must have done something wrong and it didnt give me the discount. She gets the manager because she was going to have to void the purchase and reenter it and manually authorize the 20% discount. When she reenters the purchase and applies the discount it magically gives me the original discount I was supposed to get along with the manually authorized discount meaning I got 20% off the original and then another 20% off what was left. This was a huge mistake as the discount rules had a limit of $100 off, but it processed the manually authorized discount first giving me over $200 off and then another $100 off using the rules of the credit card offer. She didnt know what to do because the payment had already been accepted and the purchase had gone through. I wanted to do the right thing so I offered her a chance to correct this huge mistake in my favor knowing she might get some blow back. She said she didnt know how to handle it and I could go. I had given her a chance so I didnt argue and went on my way.
