Logan Rudolph, the next Tre Lamar, great TE or stay at DE?

Aug 2, 2018, 9:51 PM

Right Logan is almost exactly same size as Tre. I have heard many times that Logan is heck of an athlete and we saw obviously there is some talent in the family with his brother going to NFL.

Would it make sense for Logan to move to LB and keep his weight in the 240's especially since we have so many quality DE's. Or could we move Logan to TE and find our next great TE? I'm sure he has the stregnth and smarts, just don't know if he has the hands.

If he is such a good athlete, where would he contribute the most? I don't think DE is where he would fit in the NFL.

My son's name, his favorite reindeer... a good omen

Judging from his commitment video only,

I would say his hand-eye coordination is good enough for TE considering not only his solid placed wood chops, but also his expert scissor handling on those jorts. However, I saw a mean streak that says LB / WDE.

Wrong. this kid is an absolute stud at DE. Only question is if the staff wants to keep him there.

He is still a little light compared to our normal 265-275 prototypical DE. Yes I know Beasley played at 235-240 but he was moved to LB in the NFL. With XT, KJ, and the numerous others at DE position, I was thinking maybe a move would benefit both us and him? I know the guy is supposed to be very athletic which is why I would want him on the field.
