Monte needs to use the weekday game to give other players a look in the OF…Fairey isn’t cutting it…Brewer must be moved down in the order because he strikes out way too much for a lead off hitter. What’s good in leading off if you can’t get on base?

Brewer looks nothing like a lead off hitter. Strikes out, pops up and cannot go the opposite way. Give me Corbitt as lead off hitter. Fairey needs to sit, period.

I'm with you. Monte seems to be timid to change things or try something new. Lead off hitters must get on base frequently.

Monte's more interested in how his team is playing and hitting in May and that means giving time to work out the kinks and solve problems now. That they're still winning most of their games while doing so is a testament to his long-range view over your myopia.

No it’s a testament to this pitching staff…Lee has literally said that himself….When the comes in conference play that we will need to score runs to bail the pitching out we will feel it.

You are going to have to wait until Taylor is cleared! And hopefully he is 100%. If he comes back 100% I can see him starting centerfield and brewer taking over for fairey.

But I’m not complaining about the lineup. We are 14-1. We swept South Carolina who is about to take a series against texas. We beat northeastern in a series who just swept nc state. We have a decent team. People get into slumps. They snap out of slumps. Look at French. The first few games he couldn’t sniff the ball. The last few he has been locked in.
