He can get any interested player he recruits admitted to LSU. Same for the transfer portal. Not sure you can say that at ND. His best teams at ND were still lacking depth and that won’t be a problem at LSU.

I was talking to a lifetime ND fan yesterday, he looked to be about 75. He did not have anything nice to say about Coach Kelly. Just string together a paragraph of your best expletives…….that’s basically what he said.

I didn't know ND fans used bad expletives in their conversations. Just kidding, of course, but I never really thought that much of Brian Kelly from the start. He probably will be just fine at LSU, though. Their standards are a lot less lofty there vs ND. We'll see.

Seeing that LSU was won three national titles with three different coaches since Notre Dame‘s last title, I’d Say it’s much easier to win the title of LSU, that’s why he went there

No as far as Notre Dame fans, I’ve never known many but the ones I have noon are completely detached from reality when it comes to college football

He can kiss "The Luck of the Irish" away at LSU.

Sorry, butt I would consider Lincoln Riley leaving Oklahoma

Apr 23, 2022, 11:38 AM

for the real USC to be MUCH more earthquakely than Kelly leaving Leprechaun Land for the Bayou Bengals. Before Riley made that move, I doubt LSU even considered such a thing possible.

Riley's move will have a ripple effect on college football for YEARS to come. It has ALREADY rippled past Clemson, with us losing Brent Venables to Oklahoma to take his place.

The missing piece was the LSU accent Kelley sports now.

New narrative:
How can that happen? Distilling LSU athletic director Scott Woodward's splashy $95 million experiment to a single statistic is easy. Notre Dame won 94.2% of the time as a favorite over the past five years, according to ESPN Stats & Information -- better than any power conference team. That includes Kelly winning his final 40 games as a favorite at Notre Dame.

It should be obvious, ND has academic standards.

LSU has a much larger pool to draw from. They
can get the AKADEMTKLY and standards challenged.

I don't like Kelly very much, but he is a good coach and I think probably a crappy person. He had been throwing shade at Freeman via a burner account if rumors are true which I actually believe. He will however win and win big. I think he will become the #2 West team until Nick hangs it up then go on a run himself. We can bash ND all we want, but the admission standards are a real thing and kept him from creating competitive depth and a consistent top team. There are no standards on da bayou and few restrictions. Plus NIL will work out to their favor without doubt. All in all, he along with Riley are set up for instant success!

You are right. Kelly is a darn good coach and all he cares about is winning ..... probably at just about any cost. That is exactly why he took the LSU job. I expect his to win big there and compete for a chance to play for Nattys. I'm not wishing him any luck though!
