Let me ask everyone about suspended players on the sideline

Sep 22, 2014, 10:33 AM

It is something I don't normally pay attention to, but using Clemson as an example, does Dabo allow suspended players on the sideline?..I don't recall Sammy Watkins on the sidelines when he was suspended...

If you are suspended you should not be on the field.

Winston didn't play, but he was definitely part of the game and was allowed to be the "hero" in his own way by being a motivational "hero".

I have come to despise FSU more than the Gamecocks and I never thought that could happen....

That was an FSU mistake. I'm glad they kept putting him on

TV. It showed the nation what a tool he is and probably hurt Jimbo's reputation as well. FSU looked bad from start to finish in the way they (mis)handled that situation.

He shouldn't have been out there, especially given his penchant for bad decisions.

Isaiah Battle was suspended last year (I think) for 1/2 a game & sat in the locker room without a TV not knowing what was going on in the game. That was for punching a player the week before. Hope that answers your question

suspensions.

But I honestly don't get all the fuss about Jameis being dressed out. Him being out there how it should be. Show him that he's just a member of the team and has to go through warmups just like everyone else. Isn't that what you want from a suspension?

Having him out there with just a jersey on just puts a spotlight on him showing he's different from everyone else. That's his problem, he's always been different. He needs to be taught he's just like everyone else.

IMHO he should not have been allowed on the sideline. If he wanted to be in the stadium he should have been told, buy a ticket and sit in the stands. You can tell what an arrogant, disrespectful to his University President this ### whole is when he comes out dressed to take warmup with the team.

for the UGA game.

There may be a difference in rule for an NCAA suspension as opposed to a team suspension, but I don't know.
