If Kansas keeps winning, it will be a big job because they have plenty of money.

His record in Div III was 109-6. Three of those losses were in his first two seasons as a HC. The other three were in 2012. One year after he won the 2011 NC and graduated 19 starters. He followed that "bad" year up with a 2013 NC. That's an insane record. His name has been linked to a lot of coaching vacancies which led to Wisconsin firing Chryst. They want Leipold, bad.

I think Wisconsin wants to hire the interim, Jim Leonhard,

permanently. If they don't stick with Leonhard though i would expect Leipold to be their first choice. He has tons of Wisconsin ties.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

pretty good job over at Syracuse as well. I'd pump the brakes a little on KS......they have some very tough games ahead of them.

Screw Calford.

More and Liepold.

Liepold is a hot name for sure. If I had to speculate, I would see Wisconsin as the next landing spot for him.

(With my working hypothesis being that schools indirectly contact candidates and negotiate terms of employment for the next coach before announcing the firing of the current coach, I could easily believe that when Nebraska fired Frost, Wisconsin started negotiating heavily with Liepold's agent and managed to outbid Nebraska for his service.)

Here is a story that was written before Chryst was fired.
