Legit Lemanski Hall Question

I was reading commits from our new DE commit David Ojiegbe and he noted how much he connected with Hall (our DE coach).

Hall joined Clemson's staff in 2015 as an analyst and was promoted to D-ends coach in 2018. He has a fairly long NFL career and played at Bama. He has developed KJ Henry, Xavier Thomas, Myles Murphy, and Justin Mascoll, Foster, etc.

Does anyone have any insight into Hall's reputation In the industry? How good of a recruiter is he? Hard to say how well above have developed, next year's draft will really tell the results.

These guys havent played like the Power Rangers did. Haven't looked comparatively earlier. And don't know how much to contribute that to development vs natural talent / recruiting.

Just curious.

I don't know his reputation...but I know what I have observed.

We've had really good talent at DE. But ever since Marion Hobby left our DE play has lacked discipline.

Even with studs like Myles Murphy coming in "ready to play" we haven't seen development and production as we have in the past.

I realize that Hobby is one of the best, so the comparison is tough. But to my eye, Hall hasn't made up any ground in terms of demonstrated improvement in his ability as a coach since he took over coaching DEs.

I would tend to agree.

Marion Hobby - how did we get him? Dabo played with him at Bama? Dude was such a homerun.

I thought Marion Hobby played at Tennessee.

The problem with asking questions on tnet is the answers are often feelings or guesses.
