Leggett rumor

One of the Columbia radio stations was discussing a rumor this morning that Leggett was going to go to a Big 12 school. Baylor has an opening, and Garrido may be about to step down at Texas, although I don't see any chance that Texas would be interested in Leggett now.
This may be nothing but a rumor.

that was on TNET yesterday that was making light of the Clemson to Big12 rumors from a couple seasons ago. There was absolutely no validity to what they were talking about.

within the Athletic Department last night. I was told that DRad is still weighing all of his options and that he has not yet made a final decision on Leggett's future. I was also told there is no specific timetable for a decision. It could be today or it could be two weeks from now.

decision, it's gonna take a long time to make a decision.
I am fine if he stays provided certain staff changes happen.
My whole point of contention is that DRad laid out certain things that needed to happen and either they did or they didn't so it shouldn't be a hard decision either way.
It's not fair to the coaches involved or the recruits involved to drag this thing out.

While we all may think a week to ten days is a long time, DRad may feel differently.
If memory serves, in college baseball there are two signing periods for recruits. The early period is in mid to late November and the Regular signing period runs from mid-April to early August.
That said, it would be imprudent to drag this thing out more than a week or two.

one way or the other. I mean that's downright disconcerting, and almost unbelievable. I mean, there are really 3 options: Jack gets an extension and stays; Jack gets to finish out the final year of his contract and have a last hurrah; or Jack can step down/be fired. It's not like DRad hasn't had time to ponder all of this extensively. He's known for a looooong time such a decision was imminent, and Jack did nothing with the baseball team at the end of the season that would impact that decision either way.
