What airline are you flying? I say united and she says I hope you brought your helmet. Then I get here and the screen asks if we want to give up our tickets. I said no. I think we'll be good because they made some nice changes to their policy. Plus I'm not a ####, but here's to hoping for a good flight and good time with my wife. First vacation away from the kids in 7 years. And our 14th anniversary (more of a coincidence than planned). Will be representing with various Clemson Tiger gear. Go Tigers!

You'll love it! This was my second trip there. It's quite the magical place!
Must have/see/drink/eat list...
- North Shore is amazing. Turtle Bay Resort is a few miles away and you can go into the bar/grill at the Clubhouse and the food and drinks are excellent!
- Pineapple Ice Cream. I was rather surprised. You can get it at the Dole Pineapple farm (on the way to the North Shore).
- Duke's in downtown Waikiki is one of, if not my favorite restaurant in Hawaii. Make reservations early. They make a drink called a Tropical Itch. Comes garnished with a pineapple and a wooden backscratcher. I had 9 of them in 6 days. You can also get this drink upstairs at the Hula Grill.
- Diamond head is worth the hike and the crowds. If you're in good shape, and want more of a challenge, hit Koko Head.
- Hanauma Bay is spectacular. If you want to go snorkeling, this is a popular place, and for good reason. Limited parking so get there early, or schedule a trip with pick up from hotel.
- Kailua Beach Park is great and has less people. You can rent a Kayak from Kailua Beach Rentals and paddle out to 1 of 2 islands off shore. It's total worth it!!
- Heavenly Island on 342 Seaside is a REALLY good breakfast spot, but a little pricey.
- The Starbucks Reserve Bar on 349 Seaside Ave in downtown Waikiki is the nicest coffee shop you'll ever step into.
- Hike/ATV Ride around Kualoa Ranch - This is where some of Jurassic Park was filmed. The mountains go straight up, quite impressive!!

near there. It's a throwback type bar. I used to live over there for a couple of years. It was my watering hole. It might not feel that romantic though, but it's cool. Might be worth a brew or two though.
