Clemson outscored Duke in points off turnovers, points in the paint, second chance points, and fast break points. Less turn overs, more steals,more rebounds,more assists, more three pointers .... sounds like a poorly coached team to me!
The bad thing is this game was the obvious foul difference and Hall was 6 of 21 from the floor.

I really hate it for Hall. So many close looks and just couldn't get them to fall. Hope he shakes that off okay.

I agree. The team is put in a position to win. Now is the time to start doing it. Clemson did not get outcoached last night. Quite the contrary.
Who is the guy who left the program last year . I can’t remember his name.

We did not get out coached but we got out recruited. That still translates into a loss. We are at 11-9 but the season is not over yet. You think he is going to get this effort each game for rest of season. If the past 12 years are any indication I would say not.

Just couldn't quite pull out the win despite all of the positives indicated in the OP, which, on the surface, would lead you to believe we should have won the game.

to be honest, the game turned out exactly like how a lot of us knew it would... fight hard.. keep it close.. lose in the end. that's not pessimism.. that's realism based on years of experience.

Honestly going into the game, I thought Clemson would be lucky to stay within the 15 point range of Duke. I thought the Blue Devils were too big for Clemson to match up and stay within striking distance. To the credit of the players and coaches, I was pleasantly wrong. Once the Tigers was in it, I said let's win it! that didn't happen, but the team played with incredible effort, and the game plan was well executed. I hope this effort carries over for the remainder of the season.

At what point do wins and losses start to overtake a perception of well- or not-well- coached? We simply don't win enough, and need to make a coaching change. That does not mean we were not well coached against Duke.
